Pairing method

High–low / Snake Sort by HC, pair best with worst. For 3-player teams this becomes a snake draft: each team gets one player from the top, middle, and bottom third. Always the same result for a given field. Balanced shuffle Tries 10 random arrangements and keeps the one where the gap between the highest and lowest team HC total is smallest. Result varies each click — good when the field has an awkward HC distribution that fools simple patterns. True random Pure shuffle — no HC logic at all. Teams are whoever ends up next to each other. Completely unpredictable; fairness is down to luck.
